CHRISTIANS IN ACTION (CIA)
Christians in Action of Northwood Baptist Church shall serve both the church leadership and congregation by providing information and education about political and social issues of concern to the Body of Christ. The group shall also endeavor to equip the church for action when so directed and to coordinate congregational involvement.
The group shall seek at all times to fulfill its responsibilities in a manner consistent with the character of Christ as it serves to move church members toward a fuller expression of their Christian faith in the public square.
Issues of Concern Are:
- Education
- Sanctity of Life
- The Media
- Religious Liberty
- Marriage and Family
We believe that voting is a privilege and a responsibility to be taken seriously. Therefore, Christians in Action will host periodic voter registration drives and will provide non-partisan voter guides at election time to educate church members on where candidates stand on the issues.
